Step 1: Clean and Prime |
Step 2: Base Coat |
Step 3: Apply Glaze |
Step 4: Create the Effect |

Clean Surface thoroughly. Remove all flaking or chalky paint. Seal surface with stain killer primer sealer (see store personnel) . |
Allow primer to dry thoroughly. Paint on Black base coat. This is your first color. Use a semi-gloss or eggshell coating. |
Allow base coat to dry
thoroughly. Apply a Red glaze coat. This is your second color. Apply glaze
sparingly. |
While the glaze is still wet, roll dry Beehive Roller over surface,
removing glaze to create effect (See package for Negative Application
Method.) For best results use "buddy system": One person applies
glaze while "buddy" creates effect behind. Allow Red glaze to
dry thoroughly. A final glaze of Gray is applied over effect utilizing
Sponge Pad (See package for Positive Application Method.) |
